A blog a day?

So, like I mentioned, I have been doing this photo-a-day thing on Instagram. But, it makes my blog writing lack a bit. Since I use this as our scrapbook for the year, I can't really do that. That being said, I don't have something to write about EVERY day, but maybe twice a week. So, I've been thinking of doing a blog-a-day type thing, but that may be too frequent. I could call it blog-twice-a-week, but that sounds dumb. haha

Any suggestions? I'm hoping there are some of you out there who would want to do this with me. If so, how often do you think is often enough? Do you think you'd do it if it was every day? If any of you are interested, I'll type up a list of what you should focus on for that day and we can do it together!

Let me know!

I've seen people commit to one post a week and talk about at least seven things that they did that week. So even though maybe you didn't do something noteworthy every day, you've still got seven things for the week. I think it was "Seven Quick Takes," but it's been a long time, so I'm not entirely sure.

I do think the blog-twice-a-week sounds like a good idea too, even if you think maybe the name doesn't :)

I blog on the family one once a month on average... (Still have to get Jan's post out on December though). The problem is finding time to sit down and blog. I mean there is something that happens each day, but almost never have time to write about it.

i was in a blogging slump in january and feel like i'm coming out of it now.

i would say, don't force it. you don't have to blog. take pics of what you love and post them. or post what makes you happy but if you have to force it then maybe you need to take a break for a bit.

you are awesome, you'll get your groove back! and i love instagram too. it's like mini blogging.
