Yesterday, we took miss Bree swimming. She just loves it! Eric likes to splash her. He was trying to dunk her but I told her she's too young to have her face go under the water. I wonder when kids are old enough for that...

Anyway... isn't she a cutie?!

Swimming lessons! :)

Awwwwwww.... my cute little family

Here's something I hadn't done for the last 15 months.... HOT TUB!

(There's a man behind me in this photo that you can't see... who told me Bree was so cute that I better get her on TV ASAP. I told him she's always smiley like that and he said, "well, it's all because of her wonderful parents." :) )

Bree and Eric did more swimming lessons while I got some "hot tub" time :)

And then we headed over to the kiddie corner for some slide fun! I love how Bree has her arms back in this picture.

Last time I put her in these swings, she couldn't sit by herself. She's a pro at it now and loves the yellow swing!

Just chilling - I need to print this photo and put it in my wallet. Adorable.

Wrinkly Bree toes underwater!

It's so fun and probably one of my favorite things to do on Eric's days off now.

Bree eats solids!

I've been super nervous about giving Bree solids - don't ask me why. I didn't want to do it too early, and I didn't want to do it too late. I didn't want to feed her rice cereal because it's a processed food and how is that better to start with than a vegetable? No clue. I talked to her pediatrician about it a while ago, and she said to start with veggies. Cereal is just a tradition and by no means do we need to do that. Rachel, my SIL, gave me a baby food making kit when I was pregnant the first time, and I was really excited to use it. So far, I have made acorn squash and butternut squash, and we will start with the acorn squash.

She turned 6 months on the 16th, but I was going to wait to feed her solids until her 6 month appt today.

At her appt, I put her up on the table, and she thought the paper was fantastic...

We talked to the pediatrician about all of our concerns and questions, and got the go ahead to feed  her solids.

And...tah dah! Acorn squash! She really liked it.

We'll try this for a while and then move onto butternut squash. Probably try some peas after that. It was actually a lot of fun to give her solids, and I think she enjoys it too! Such a big girl!

Ski day!

We pulled the kids out of school today and Natalie hung out with Bree. I was so glad she got to have some one-on-one time with her aunt. She always gets hogged by Kade and Addi so this was good. :)

Our ski day was so fun! After Add got used to it again, she was cruising down the mountain. The kids are both great skiiers.

Addi telling me all about the run she just did

Kade with Add's ski poles - Addi wanted to try them but they were making her worse so I took them away and Kade decided to try.

Add and I ended up on the lift by ourselves several times while the boys went and did their thing.

And then later it was just the kids and I as Eric went and did his thing - racing as fast as possible down the mountain.

We saw him while he was coming down and we were in the lift. This is him showing off his skills.

Kade and Addi loved the village - and had us go on this mini jump several times. By the third time, it wasn't so scary anymore. We went to show Uncle on the third time how cool we were, and Addi told me to say "I'm scared" in my head so Uncle didn't think I was a loser. :)

After skiing, we hung out at their house. Eric made a quick stop by the kawaski place to see what kind of 4-wheeler he could buy so Bree could ATV safely in her carseat. I really liked this green one, and so did she.

Later that night, we were hanging out and Bree was sitting on my leg. She kept leaning forward to touch Tucker, and so I put her a little further on my leg where she leaned over all the way and did this. What a lover.

Bree has grown!

Oh how my baby has grown. It is crazy to think that just over 6 months ago, she wasn't even here. We just love her.
