Zoo with Sally

Sally took us to the zoo and Bree LOVES the gorillas. She couldn't stay away from them. She even went back down the hall to run and see them after we had left.

She also thought the elephants were awesome.

We love the zoo. We will have to go more often!

Bree lately

Bree does so many cute things that I need to do a "Bree lately" post to talk about them all!

Cool Bree :)

Bree loves standing in the stroller instead of sitting down. Makes me a bit nervous, but she's still so darling!

I gave Bree a fruit snack, and I went to pick up the wrapper which I'm sure was on the floor, but it wasn't there. I went to find it, and she had thrown it away!! What a good girl!

Rocking out with Kade and Addi while they were visiting :)

Bree is just adorable and loves to sit in the shopping carts sideways versus putting her legs through.

Yes, change my diaper while I read. Thanks mom.

She loves to be pushed in her car, or simply just sit in it and pretend she is going somewhere.

Well, I guess we better get this pink gun. This girl is going to love all things camo, shooting, jeeping, atving, etc.

Driving at such a young age.

Bree LOVES to brush her teeth.

And apparently, this is meant to crawl under and get stuck in. haha!

Love this baby girl of mine.

On the 16th, we went to Cornbellys. I got a season pass this year, and Bree loves the slides the best. She wanted to do the slide over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over.... you get the idea.

Then today, we went again but with Eric.

It was SO fun.

In the middle of my maternity leave, my contract ended with my reporting advisor position with Rio Tinto. This meant that I would need to go back to my recruitment coordinator position. However, Rio Tinto dissolved those roles and sent them over to India, so I was left without a job. I finished my maternity leave, went back for two months to help with a project, and then was laid off. I then received unemployment. And then... I needed a job.

My friend Mary-Anne and I were walking one day and talking about a company that provides gymnastics for little kids. I was saying that I couldn't justify taking Bree to a place like that for $70 a month when I could teach her gymnastics. My friend then asked why I wasn't teaching that from my house...DUH! WHY WASN'T I?? And then, I started teaching. :)

Eric built me a bar and a beam, I bought a few things online like a mini trampoline, some bean bags, etc, and we were set.

This is Bree on her first day.

The bar Eric made. It expands out and up and down.

This is the first beam that Eric made me. He will build a second one later. This one eventually will have blocks underneath that adjust the height.

And we began!

We've been having a ton of fun so far and the extra income is definitely a huge plus.

Schofield Family goes to Boise :(

Before the Schofield family moved to Boise, Sally came down and watched the kiddos and we went bowling. Eric won (he may have had a little help from bumpers...). :)

On Thursday, Nat left and we met up with her for lunch. It was so sad. I'm going to miss her so much!

Then on Sunday, the kids were headed to Idaho with their grandparents.

Bree was all ready to go over and visit them one last time.

And then we said our goodbyes.

And Bree and Add shared their gatorade drinks.

Then this morning, Ethan came and dropped of their pets, and left. :(

We will see them (minus Nat) this Friday, which is so awesome. But I'm so very sad they really don't live here anymore.

Miss you guys!
